After my bicol adventure, i thought I'm done and bound to rest already. Well.... not quite. I received an e-mail and a text from my friends in doing cathechism that we have a seminar in Batangas. Well... of course I'm game!
No, not only for another chance to swim but also because I have lost contact with them for so long... you know... being too busy worrying about work and my self.
And so off I went. I met wonderful young volunteers. Yes! I feel I am the eldest among the volunteers. I realized then that I am taking too long into growing roots in this vocation. I have all these young people all about early 20s and they have so much energy I couldnt help but wonder where i lost mine.
Oh yeah.... I lost my way. I lost touch with the more important things in life. But you know how good God is! Just when I am about to start bumming around aimless with nothing important to do... he reminded me I have something important to do for Him! I forgot to ask HIm what I should be asking Him all along... "Big Bro, what do you want me to do for you today?"
And so after all the talks and prayers, we were off to the sea!
We left saturday, and I came home Sunday.
It was fiesta in our place. And since relatives were there, suddenly all were clamoring for a reunion... at the beach! NOW!
And so at twelve midnight, I found myself travelling back to Batangas now with my cousins. I thought we were the only ones crazy enough to travel this far early in the morning... but we were not alone. Trip talaga ng mga tao oo!
Anyway, so two more beach trips after Bicol. Isn't this the life?
