I just came back from Puerto Galera this weekend through the kindness of my friend Jheng. It was quite an experience. Since Jheng was with her company, I spent most of my time alone. It was GREAT! I thought... "this is how a vacation should be!"
I was invited by Jheng to follow her group in Galera cause there was room for one more person. So I went at 9:00am and found myself in Galera by 3:00pm. It was a restful trip. No hassle at all. I even saw an old friend , Barbie, from college. After putting down my things and gearing up for the swim, I plunged into the water like a child. I swam my heart out and came out of the water when I had my fill. I went to the room and spent the rest of the night watching t.v. "monalisa smile" was on.
Because I had an early night and because I wanted to make the most of my stay... I woke up at five and went straight to the water again - alone. Some people were still at the beach and some are on their way home after the previous night's partying.
The water was so calm I felt like I was in an infinity pool. I stayed in the water until the sun was up for my sun bathing. By nine, I was already having breakfast and ready to call it a day.
By eleven a.m. I was done fixing myself up and by noon I was already aboard our boat going to Batangas. It was quite a vacation indeed. I think I'm gonna do that again. Next time I'll stay in a tent for a change. So much time for myself... just being still and quiet. Whew!
But that's not all. The Saturday previous to this, i was in Anilao. First time... and again definitely not my last.

I went with some friends from the center and one of whom was a marine biologist. So before we reached the place where we will stay - "Arthur's" - we had a lecture on the types of fishes and corals we will be seeing. Grabe! it's like swimming in a very big aquarium. See the pic above. Sobrang amature nyan cause we were being pushed by the currents so we just dip the camera and shoot! But the water current was just strong enough to carry us on a tour to see the corals and fishes right in front of the resort. Maglalaway ka talaga sa ganda!
So I guess this will be it for May. I do not have anything scheduled for next week so I think these two wraps it up.
Could life be just a "beach"? he he...
