Standing By

In one of my early posts, I wrote about a movie "The Terminal" and Guz [i hope you still read my posts! :) ]dropped me a note summarizing - and should I say stating more accurately- what I was trying to say. He wrote : "I guess we are getting ready as we wait".

I am in that state right now. Waiting... and hopefully, getting ready at the same time. More accurately, I guess I am standing by.

As Guz puts it, it is not merely waiting. It is more active than that. It is anticipation with preparation. It is knowing that something is going to happen next. It is being ready for action.

Life responds to what we often think of, what we yearn, what we expect out of it. Some of my posts served as witness to that already. But at this point, I do not really know what I am expecting. Or what consumes me. So, "what will come?"

I hate to not know. But I am nonetheless excited. It may not be that I do not expect anything. It is more of I am expecting a lot. :)

Whatever it is, I pray I will be ready. Thanks for the reminder Guz.
