NOPE. Not sad. Tired. I snatched a photo of myself on my way to Antipolo while alone at the back of the FX I was riding. But yes, I guess if you have these red rashes on your face you'd be be a bit blue too.
How have I been after the long silence? Well, after my visit to Cebu, the following weekend found me in Tali where I spent the weekend with Ruby and Teddy (yup, them again... he he..) and the Ocampo family. Actually sabit lang talaga ako dito. I think I was invited because I need salt water. Obviously. I enjoyed this visit a lot. We stayed for three days and the best swim I had was the morning swim before we left. It was May 1. It was a Monday, and although it was a holiday, the visitors may have already exhausted themselves swimming the day before. So I woke up at six, rushed to the ocean and stayed in the "balsa" afloat meters away from the shore. There I bathed in the sun in my two piece... yup, you read that right....ows, stop imagining, you know it does not look pleasant so stop... :)
In between swim, we managed to attend Joseph's wedding. Wonderful. Lovely couple. The best part of course was when Yhen cried while dancing with papa. hmm...
The following weekend, my mom went to her doctor to get clearance for her to travel to Singapore. But instead of a clearance, she got a pink slip to St. Luke's. Days after, she was advised to get prep for a bypass. So instead, it was me and Aron who found ourselves in Singapore from May 6 to 14. It was hot. Really hot indeed. I think that contributed to my Psoriasis flaring up. Or was it the hot showers?
I found a chance to meet up with good ol Elise... Hi Elise! It feels strange meeting her in her new home... and I couldn't be happier that she seems to have found a good place for her finally. Good luck Elise! I will pray for your happiness. Soon Jheng will be joining her and my retirement is definite... diba elise and jheng? he he...
Thank you Bulen for the dinner treats and for snatching time away from your busy schedule to be with us. Take a breather sometimes ok?
So i was back to work May 15 and suddenly work was doubly taxing...and exciting I should say. Our role in the office took a turn for the worse. Now, we are not only handling training but development na talaga. Anyway, you are not interested in that. I just hope that things get better.
My mom? Thank God she did not have to undergo a bypass anymore. While in Singapore, they told us they met with an accupuncturist and after only five treatments, her doctor got her off the hook for the operation. I do not completely trust her recovery...but I have to. We have to. For now. We will continue hoping and praying.
The weekend after, I was in Dagupan for work. This is the only weekend that I found myself at home. Tired. Really tired.
Speaking of tired, I'm tired of this Psoriasis. Just that. Tired.
